Assertion (A) : In environmental studies, the actions of children are not to be judged as right/wrong. Children should get a chance to express their views, report observations and express their own experiences. Such a recommendation has been made by the National Curriculum Framework 2005 and 2023. Reason (R) : The National Curriculum Framework 2005 and 2023 recommend qualitative assessment of children.
