In the following number-pairs, the second number is obtained by performing certain mathematical operations on the first number. What numbers should come in place of X and Y so that the pattern followed by the two numbers on the left of :: becomes the same as the pattern followed by the two numbers on the right of ::? (Note: Operations should be performed on whole numbers without breaking the numbers into their component digits.
